Evil Eye –
Today’s info is all about Evil Eye – Every culture has a different concoction or definition of this term. Not to mention people and customs differ how they deal with this situation. But, whatever a non-believer may say, he/she will ultimately succumb and start believing for a reason.
There are innumerable treatises in Vedic Astrology where envy, black eye, evil eye and many other methods of getting ill effects from people around are mentioned. Some of them may not be valid universally or none of these rules may stay true. There are different ways people around may convey their envy – there are different terms in Vedic Astrology and I will list some below –
Drishti Badha – where the “look” of a person conveys envy and ill will, which may spoil the game. For example a person will visit your home and envies a beautiful sofa, as soon as he/she leaves someone spills tea or coffee on the sofa and the decor is gone forever
Vaak Badha – where speech is used to convey envy or evil. Someone around may convey a message at a tangent and then all sorts of meanings are attributed to this form of envy. For instance a person leaving for important work should never be asked where he/she is heading? Something of that sort?? Then there will be tons of well wishers who will recommend all sorts of “To Do” before a person leaves for work
There are many more, but, suffice it to say that when matters go south – everyone is there to label a person and call him/her a person who has “Kaali Zubaan” – the one who has black tongue and spoils everything when he/she speaks. Or in case of Vision – we people have the habit of labeling a person as the one with “Evil Eye”
Then there are customs where entire list of To Do exist – one of such events is marriage customs – for instance a newly wedded girl [in India] when she enters her in-laws house for first time, she is required to put her right foot forward and spill a pot of grains? What happens if she takes the wrong step inside house?? Everyone will start calculating what kind of damage will befall their marriage grin emoticon
Hints about damage from “Evil Eye” from a horoscope
Vedic Astrology looks at a very different way – the rule is – if there are inherent flaws in a person’s own horoscope, he/she will experience the effects of Envy or Evil at some point in time. The difference lies with affected planet and then which planet is spoiling the game. So, instead of blaming external manifestation of evil expressed by people, the idea is to look within ourselves and remedy own situation to get that extra boost or Will Power to ward off Evil!
So, below are some pointers in that direction smile emoticon
If the 12th house in a horoscope has one or more planets, the person is susceptible. The twelfth house covers such subjects like beyond death experiences, ghosts and angels, dreams, intuitions, meditation, hidden enemies, self-undoing, and evil eye. For example a person with sun in twelfth house will be prone to such influences. The sun rules the ‘soul” of the person. With the soul in the twelfth house matters, the person is attuned to invisible forces-both good and bad.
Eight house deals with matters related to death and things hidden from the view. It deals with circumstances surrounding one’s death. With planets here, the person is susceptible to evil energies around.
In a horoscope, if a person has a weak Sun, or a weak Ascendant Lord, the person is himself/herself weak and susceptible.
You may be surprised to know that just like some people are prone to evil eye, there are others who have innate “powers” of casting such eye on other people.
When the Sun is strong but have negative planetary energies influencing like Rahu or Saturn then the person has an evil eye. If the sixth house lord is in the third house, it strengthens the sixth house lord (because both houses are negative in nature) and thus the person has the ability of casting such an eye even if not intended.
There are several rules to discover just what part of Evil may trouble a person – this is a voluminous subject, will reserve that to individual chart readings.
